but i guess what chenlaoshi said is true. we should get into a school with our grades and ability, then, we can walk proudly through its gates and know that this is what we truely deserved instead of appealing in and getting the 'back door' feeling.

i duno.

should be happy with my results. but to a great extend, i m quite disappointed. its always that one mark or that one point that makes the world of a difference.

i should be contented with my results as i did better than a lot of ppl. and it is a huge improvement from my lousy prelim score.
shall not go and think so much already.


what has been done cannot be undone.


now its just the decision of NJ or VJ as first choice. since i wld most likely need to appeal to get in. (i missed by 1 point.) and if its first choice then have a higher possibility of successful appeal.




to all my dear friends who are disappointed in their results:
its not over okays. apparently things happen for a reason and this is a reality that we cant change. (unless we rewind time. but thats not going to happen.) we have to move on and make the best out of the situation. =)


BIG THANKS to my family, friends, teachers and all those who have helped me in the year 2007. there were so many ups and downs in the short 365days, so thanks for being with me and encouraging me when i am down.

Release of 2007 GCE O-Level Examination Results and
2008 JAE & JPSAE

1. The results of the 2007 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) Examination will be released on Thursday, 24 January 2008.

2. School candidates may collect their results from their schools at 2:00 pm on 24 January 2008. Private candidates will be informed of their results by post. Private candidates may also access their results through the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website at http://www.seab.gov.sg from 2:00 pm on 24 January 2008.

3. Students can submit applications to junior colleges (JCs), Millennia Institute (MI), polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) via both the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) and the Joint-Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE) using their GCE O-Level results.

4. This year, students will be able to receive the posting results of their JAE application through an additional channel, via SMS text messaging. Students must provide a local mobile phone number during registration through the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS) to receive the SMS. <---- awesome!

i frigging nervous.

i interviewed 2ppl! haha. once with LingHui and once with Cheryl.
*cough* one of the sec1's reason for joining was to learn how to use Microsoft Powerpoint. i gave her the are-you-seriously-serious look and she cont'd on with her needs for Powerpoint. Cheryl gave her one big 'X' after she left! (partly cos of my influence as well! hehee)
and i think i scared them by staring at them with a serious face. whooopsie!
i learnt 2 new & awesome games that day with the 2008EXCO! haha. i m so going for Sec1 Orientation this year! hahaha.


stnicks2008 diary is SUPER NICE! to all those who haven bought it yet: BUY IT! its awesomely ALLLL-SOME. thou its ex compared to previous years but worth it. =) the stickers inside are so cute can!
